TRUTH

TRUTH

So, a seeker of Truth you claim to be…

Silly child, why seek for what you already possess?

The Truth is in the greatest Whole,

But you close your eyes and refuse to see,

The Truth is in the dimensionless Center within,

But you hold fingers to your ears and refuse to hear,

You say, “How can a mere mortal mind comprehend the Fullness?”,

But You ARE the Fullness of Truth,

You cannot grasp It, but must open to the Experience.

—–

You have appointed for yourself a day of Understanding,

In that Day, you will open your eyes,

And it will be your Day of Judgement,

For you will know that You did it all to yourself.

You have appointed for yourself a day of Wisdom,

In that Day, you will remove the fingers from your ears,

And it will be your undoing,

As you hear the Celestial choirs.

For you will say, “Why did I wait so long; I knew It the whole time”,

And you shall know the absolute Joy you sought to find,

And True Love shall be your eternal Bliss.

A Most Enlightening Book

One of the most influential, inspiring, and enlightening books I have ever read is “The Cloud Upon the Sanctuary”, written by Karl Von Eckhartshausen (1752-1803).  He was a Christian and a mystic, and as such was totally and completely dedicated to our Lord Jesus Christ, which is self-evident in his writings. I present this here in hopes that as many people will read it as possible.  Reading it filled my heart with love, and filled my eyes with tears at the beauty presented in its pages.  The information given therein is invaluable to anyone desiring to consciously become One with Christ, and God the Father.  I have never found, in my own opinion and experience, any person more dedicated to Christ, nor any book more inspirational, save the Bible itself.

A second reason for writing this post, and recommending this book without hesitation, is to bring truth to the great lies which have been perpetuated regarding the “occult” Wisdom.  Karl Von Eckhartshausen was thoroughly trained in the arcane arts, the esoteric, the oral tradition, otherwise known as the “occult”.  If any of you have any doubts as to the character of such training and teachings, which have many times been called “evil” by political and fundamentalist church authorities, I am certain that this book will convince you otherwise.  If such a pure and wise Christian as Karl Von Eckhartshausen was completely familiar with occult teachings, then there cannot possibly be any evil in it!  Many of the mystical Catholic Saints were also totally familiar with the esoteric interpretation of the scriptures, and certainly none of you would call any of them “evil” (I hope).  At times in history, especially during the Renaissance, occult works were required reading among the Christian royalty, the wealthy, the accomplished, and the intellectuals.  It has fallen in and out of favor at the whims of society’s political leadership out of fear that a learned population would understand true freedom in Christ, and become a problem for them to manage according to their greedy and power-lusting purposes.

I hope some of you will at least skim portions of this book, which is freely available (for free) from several sites, and can also be cheaply purchased from Amazon.com.  I bet that if you do, most of you, like me, will end up reading the entire book, which is a set of letters written to the church, and is a very short, but truly enlightening, work.

Peace and Blessings to all of you!

Why I Love Comments

I love it when people comment on one of my posts (or all of them). Of course, it is easy to see why I would like appreciation and flattery…who wouldn’t! The comments I would really like to foster and encourage are disagreements or differences of opinion with something I have written. These comments do one of two things for me. Either they tend to further cement why I feel the way I do or they offer me yet another perspective to consider, which could actually lead to me changing (updating versions of) my own opinion. These are both valuable outcomes for me. But it isn’t all about me, me, me…these comments also help other readers to reflect on their own ideas and beliefs.

Many of my posts involve serious thoughts on matters of faith, which are constantly evolving the more I learn and the wiser I become as a result of meditating on them. (some posts are just silly crap). Rather than simply accepting dogmatism, I constantly keep an open mind to what new things I can learn. What I value is the “TRUTH”, whatever it may be, and regardless of ANY established creed or religion. I would rather be uncomfortable with a difficult Truth than settle for a comfortable, but incorrect, belief system. Most people are not like that. They choose a church, club, group, or organization in which they most feel “at home”, and blindly accept whatever they are “told” is the truth. They are unwilling to put in the necessary time, thought, and soul-searching it takes to constantly continue to grow “towards” the Light of Truth. None of us has it right…we all continue to “miss the mark”, and will do so until we finally transcend this material reality and become ONE with the Ultimate Truth. Only then will we cease our sinning, when we come to finally know the “Absolute”. Very few people ever reach this state, and I need all the help I can get during “the long dark night of the soul”. That is why I like comments.

Do you have suggestions for me on how to elicit more comments? Tricks of the trade? Psychological manipulation? (well maybe not going quite that far! After all, those are the tools the established religions and governments have been using on us for centuries).
