The reason that there are thousands of variants of religions is because humans are so evolutionarily fallible and immature that they have only a faulty and imperfect grasp of the Will of God. On top of that, we humans have a repellent, divisive and distasteful habit of presenting our opinions as absolute Truth. Some are so deluded so as to actually believe their opinion to be TRUTH absolute!
